Info:

To intercede is to stand between a person and God and pray earnestly for them.  We also intercede for families, churches, cities and nations.

First, repent before the lord so there is no stronghold in your own heart that will hinder your prayers.

Praise God for his love and forgiveness, enjoy his presence and wonderful strength.

Appeal to his mercy and kindness.

Listen for his will, his instructions, and his answer.

(June-July-August 2006)

DID YOU KNOW that some of the most powerful people in prayer are the most humble in normal life. And any big movement of God begins with the prayers of people like us, normal people who aren’t famous, who aren’t rich, who aren’t powerful in the world’s sense. The intercession of small groups of believers who humble themselves, repent of their sins and pray is what starts God moving on the earth in any country, city or community. We will never be known on earth for these prayers of intercession. But we will be known in heaven for eternity for our faithfulness, humility and fervent prayers.

If you aren't in a small prayer group, form one now with one for two friends.  That's all you need.

Just a few people who humble themselves and pray in unity will move God’s heart. That’s his promise.

God is now calling us to pray together for these things:

1. That we repent; 2. That we have freedom from the Pharisee spirit; 3. That we know Jesus personally; 4. That we find God’s Will; 5. That we Obey God’s will; 6. That we have God’s Wisdom; and 7. That we walk in Unity with all believers.

1.  Repent and break the bondage of Sinfulness, Worldliness, Un-forgiveness and all our sins.
If we seek satisfaction in our flesh, we seek death and we will only find death. The only satisfaction that is real is from God. God is calling us to leave the sins of Babylon, of the world, of the flesh, leave them all behind and purify ourselves. We must walk in love, not sexual lust; love, not selfishness; love, not being deceitful. Then God will dwell with us, then we will hear God speak to us, then we will live with his presence in our lives. Then revival will come to Hong Kong, the Philippines, Asia and the whole world. We repent of our sins and seek God in holiness, truth and purity. We live holy lives and do not yield our bodies to be servants of sin.

Romans 6:13 Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.

2. Freedom from the false spirit of “Religiousness” that keeps us from finding God in reality.
Religion and a relationship with God are not the same thing. If we try to "act Christian" or "act holy" we are working in our flesh without the help of God’s Spirit working inside us. Everything he asks us to do, can only be done truthfully in HIS strength. If we try to do it on our own we can only fake it, making a show of kindness and gentleness, peace and love, but not having the true thing. These things cannot come from following rules or forcing ourselves to be good. When we do this we are being like the Pharisees who knew only religion and resisted God’s Spirit and those who walked in it. We cast down this bad attitude and destroy it in Jesus’ name. The Pharisee Spirit and Religious Spirit have already crumbled down like the walls of Jericho because of the Holy Spirit answering our prayers. It has been destroyed. Praise God for this when you pray, and enforce it in prayer whenever you see its illegal manifestation.

Isaiah 29:13 The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.

John 4:23 "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."

3. That instead we seek Jesus personally and have a real personal relationship with him.
The Lord is a personal God. If we don’t know Him personally, we do not know him at all. After we are free from the bondage of the Pharisee attitude or unspiritual ‘religiousness’ we must then come to a personal discovery of Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit. We have to spend time cultivating this relationship or we will never have meaningful intimacy with God. We can do this by opening our hearts to seek him at any time during the day: when we cook, when we walk to work or to school, when we go shopping, while we sit in bed about to fall sleep. The more we seek him the more we’ll find him!

John 14:23 Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him."

4. That we seek to know God’s Will
If God is pleased by us doing his will then he must make a way for us to know what it is! Otherwise we would never be able to please him! In Ecclesiastes Solomon said that there is a time to sow and a time to harvest, a time to gather stones and a time to scatter stones. But how do we know what time it is to do what thing, unless God tells us!!

Many people are so fast to tell you it’s not God’s will to heal a person or to bless a certain person at a certain time. But how do they know if it is God’s will NOT to heal someone at a certain time unless God has just spoken to them at that moment and given them supernatural revelation of His Will? He must have told you something IS or is NOT his will, otherwise you’re only guessing!! Some just think it’s NEVER God’s time to answer prayer.

Thankfully we can just ask God what his will is instead of guessing or falling victim to fear and unbelief. So relax and be open, and he’ll tell you what his will is!! Test his will with a fleece, ask for confirmation, then wait for confirmation. You’ll get it. God wants to be understood and he wants his will to be known.

If we don’t know God’s will we usually pray out of fear or with wild guessing as to what is best for us. Thankfully, God’s Spirit lives in our hearts and guides us in what God is thinking and what his will is for us to pray.

I Cor 2:9-12 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" — but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

5. Once we know His will, we have to obey it instead of blindly following man’s agenda.
Once God makes his will known, many still sinfully resist it. We are usually afraid to submit to His ways or His will because we don’t trust Him. But when you mature and realize that "His will done on earth as it is in heaven," is the best thing we can hope for, then we submit freely — and are blessed greatly for it.

We also need to be mindful that we are going to heaven and should live our lives on earth accordingly. Many ‘Christians’ live their lives like those who are not saved, and more still live to fulfill worldly desires instead of desiring heavenly, Godly, Christ-like things. Let’s stop doing what we want, and stop building what man wants, and honor God by doing what HE wants! When his will is known, and it’s hard to do, ask him to give you the desire and strength to obey, and he will!

Matthew 6:9-10 This, then, is how you should pray: " ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven . . . ."

Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven."

Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.

6. Wisdom
The Bible says that "Wisdom is the main thing" (Prov 4:7) and that it was by wisdom that God made the world (Prov 3:19). Wisdom comes from God, (Prov 2:6) and it is not logic or conventional experience. Wisdom is a Spirit of God (Isaiah 11:2) and therefore it comes to us by supernatural revelation. It is also freely available to all who call on the name of Jesus! Thank God for that! Holy Wisdom is related to knowing God’s ways and is something that we will get more of as we walk closer with God. Without wisdom we will not be effective in our ministries, or our lives as a witness of Christ. We all need more wisdom. For ourselves, for our leaders, even for our government officials.

I Cor 2:6-7 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

7.  Unity in the Body of Christ.
As I have learned there are at least three elements. 1. If our leaders are immature and irresponsible, we will not be able to handle Unity. God won’t trust us with unity in the Body if our leaders will only act in ambition to abuse the sheep for the glory of their own egos. God told me this. We need maturity to have unity. 2. Without compassion, a heart of active love that has been created by God’s Spirit within our hearts, we will not be able to walk in God’s ways, and not be able to walk in unity. Unity is a manifestation of God in the hearts of believers. It is not achievable in our own religious efforts. 3. Maturity leads to unity, but unity leads to a higher kind of maturity. Without unity we will not experience the blessings of the fullness of the body of Christ.

We now pray together for Unity in the Body of Christ in the spirit of brotherhood, love and acceptance. We must pray for unity among all believers, all denominations and all people. Satan causes divisions, and when we accept strife from Satan, especially against our family, our friends and other believers, then we will fall victim to envy, selfish ambition, which will lead to confusion and every evil work. (James 3:16) We must resist arguing about doctrines and opinions, strange theories and meaningless things. We must love the brethren at all costs.

The Body of Christ is One and we must be in unity for Christ to save the nation. It all begins with small groups of people like you and I who pray in private and intercede for the nations, have a personal walk with Jesus, know God’s will, obey it and walk in Unity.

So rise up Daughters of Zion.
Rise up and the Glory of the Lord will shine on you. Rise up and be the women of God you are called to be, holy and confident in God. Rise up in boldness to pray, and pray without ceasing. And the prayer of faith will be heard.

“[If] my people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  2 Chron 7:14
